Acridistrasz is a eager young Red Dragon currently guarding Grim Batol under the command of Garshilan. Brann Bronzebeard came across him while exploring Grim Batol during his journies through the Eastern Kingdoms. Acridistrasz told Brann Bronzebeard the Red Dragonflight is "guarding a secret that living creatures are not meant to know."

Upon learning of the presence of a black dragon hiding as a troll in a nearby troll encampment, the young wyrm began to recruit adventurers in hopes that they would assist him in defeating the black beast and help him rise in prominence among his flight. Template:Cite
