An Aerie Gryphon is a level 60-85 elite Alliance gryphon found in Alterac Valley. They spawn if you manage to place and defend a beacon provided by all Wing Commanders for one minute. The Aerie Gryphon spawned by Slidore's Beacon will patrol between Stonehearth Bunker and Wildpaw Ridge, Vipore's Aerie Gryphon will fly through the nothern parts of Field of Strife and Winterax Hold and the Aerie Gryphon spawned by Ichman's Beacon will patrol between Field of Strife and Dun Baldar.
