• Aerith is a reference to Aerith Gainsborough (originally mistranslated as "Aeris" in Final Fantasy VII, but corrected in Kingdom Hearts and all subsequent games featuring her), a major character of Final Fantasy VII, who wears a pink and red outfit similar in appearance to that of this NPC, and is also a flower seller.
