My dearest old friend Nordu has bestowed to you a great gift... the gift of life.

One of the greater wilderness spirits is Aessina. Her shrine was built ages ago by the night elves, and lies in the midst of a forest glade in Ashenvale's heart. The shrine is a clear forest pool with a statue of Aessina standing beside it, clothed only in ivy. Some fortunate adventurers may encounter her briefly in the Grove of Aessina on western Mount Hyjal.Dryads are known to visit the shrine to venerate Aessina.^[1]

In World of Warcraft

Aessina's main sanctuary is Shrine of Aessina in Ashenvale Forest.

In Cataclysm

A shrine to Aessina appears in Mount Hyjal. She briefly appears during the quest  [81] Aessina's Miracle.
