Ahab Wheathoof <The Old Rancher> is a level 62 tauren quest giver located near Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore. He seems to be worried about his dog, Kyle.
He starts the quest

Ahab was created by Tigole at the behest of 10-year-old Ezra Chatterton (alias Ephoenix), who toured Blizzard's offices with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Despite his apparent advanced age, the voice of Ahab is actually that of Ezra himself. Ahab is flagged as a beast and not a humanoid; however, this may be a bug. In addition, he cannot be attacked by either Horde or Alliance by melee or spells.
Ezra passed away on October 20, 2008, and many Horde players travelled to Mulgore to complete Ahab's quest in his memory. [1] Elder Proudhorn was renamed as Elder Ezra Wheathoof as a tribute to his memory.
