Alayin Glitterhelm was a high elven mage who murdered an orc far seer to get the Book of Khadgar. He had learned of the book from a friend, who in turn had learned of it from a goblin merchant, who had stayed with the far seer. After his friend met an unfortunate fate, he made his way into the orcs far seer's Spirit lodge and killed the orc. But before he finished reading the first lines of the book, he was attacked by a second guardian, a wolf made out of shadows.^[1]
