Ammonites are an extinct type of shelled squid. The shell could be long like a spear or coiled in a variety of different ways. While some fossils are of a small specimen, they could grow quite large.^[1]

A Fossilized Ammonite Choker can be found inside The Captain's Chest after escaping the Lich King in the Heroic version of Halls of Reflection.
