Anren Shadowseeker is a night elf quest giver associated with the Guardians of Hyjal first encountered at Nordrassil^{[64, 22]} in Mount Hyjal. He can be found by going straight out from the main building, sitting astride his nightsaber.

He is later found within The Regrowth^{[41, 56]}, fending off invaders with his friend, Tholo Whitehoof. They both join the effort in defending the Sanctuary of Malorne against Ragnaros' forces during the Firelands Invasion. He becomes separated from Tholo within the caves of the Molten Flow^{[51, 31]}, requiring rescue before offering daily quests for the zone.
