Anson Hastings^{[60.6, 75]} is a human quest giver for the Alliance during Hallow's End. He is concerned about a crate of arcane artifacts that was to be delivered to him by a Hired Courier. The Courier was killed by a thief, who then stole the crate, and now Anson wants to enlist the aid of players to get it back.

Anson wants the crate in order to complete his transcendence into something greater, but the spell goes awry when he finally is able to cast it. He transforms into a giant spider, then keels over and dies.
