Arcanite Skeleton Keys are a product of Blacksmithing. The keys are useful for some doors, Treasure Chests and for Lockboxes when there is not a rogue with high enough Lockpicking skill available.

Notes
The smithable skeleton keys have an equivalent lockpicking skill to their blacksmithing requirement. Failure to open or insufficient "skill" does not consume the key. Should you recieve the "failure message," simply try again. These keys are used (right-click) to open some variations of steel, mithril, and thorium lockboxes, among others.
