This item is a quest reward for completing the quest Blackfathom Villainy.
Notes
This shield is good for twinks who want to use it in the 10-19 Warsong Gulch battleground. The quest is available at level 18. If you do run this dungeon, you will get a lot of experience at level 18. If you really want this shield, then you probably want a high level friend to clear Blackfathom Deeps up to Argent Guard Thaelrid before you enter the instance. Run to Thaelrid, get the quest, then leave the instance. Have your high level friend clear to Lord Kelris, enter the instance, assist in killing Kelris and take his head for the turn-in for the shield.
