In the description of the quest Karuk's Oath, his name is Aruik.

Airut is the father of Karuk and was killed after an invasion from the Skadir. Airut was a Tuskarr. Karuk workes to avenge his father's death and also his peoples. Although he is dead Karuk can be found in the Borean Tundra in riplash strand.
