− | Each Paladin can emanate one Aura at a time. The active Aura affects the Paladin and, if grouped, all party members within 30 yards of the Paladin. This range can be extended to 40 yards through the [[Aura Mastery]] talent. Note that Auras do not affect an entire [[raid]] group, but only the party to which the Paladin belongs. |
+ | [[Lord Alexei Barov]] of [[Scholomance]] also has "Unholy Aura". |
− | Activating an Aura consumes no mana, and is essentially "free" to cast. Once activated, an Aura remains active until the Paladin dies. Auras cannot be dispelled. |
− | |||
− | Switching which Aura is active can be done at any time, with the only cost of changing them being the [[global cooldown]]. When a Paladin dies, his Aura is deactivated and must be reactivated after [[resurrect]]ing. |
− | |||
− | Two Paladins using the same Aura gain no additional effect. For this reason, it is important to coordinate the use of Auras when a group contains more than one Paladin; each Paladin should be using a different Aura. Also note that Paladin resistance Auras do not stack with most resistance buffs. In general, only the more powerful buff will be effective. |
