Baron Rivendare of Stratholmehas "Unholy Aura", which does periodic shadow damage.
Each Paladin can emanate one Aura at a time. The active Aura affects the Paladin and, if grouped, all party members within 30 yards of the Paladin. This range can be extended to 40 yards through the Aura Mastery talent. Note that Auras do not affect an entire raid group, but only the party to which the Paladin belongs.

  +
Lord Alexei Barov of Scholomance also has "Unholy Aura".
Activating an Aura consumes no mana, and is essentially "free" to cast. Once activated, an Aura remains active until the Paladin dies. Auras cannot be dispelled.

Switching which Aura is active can be done at any time, with the only cost of changing them being the global cooldown. When a Paladin dies, his Aura is deactivated and must be reactivated after resurrecting.

Two Paladins using the same Aura gain no additional effect. For this reason, it is important to coordinate the use of Auras when a group contains more than one Paladin; each Paladin should be using a different Aura. Also note that Paladin resistance Auras do not stack with most resistance buffs. In general, only the more powerful buff will be effective.

Available Auras
