Bark of the Walkers can be found on the bodies of Woodlands Walkers during the quests:

•  [72] Strengthen the Ancients

It can also be acquired by asking for it from a woodlands walker (during the quests). The walker will sometimes give it, and sometimes attack and have to be killed.
