Baron Vardus is a level 40 human member of the Syndicate, found in the Syndicate camps of the Uplands or the basement of the Strahnbrad Inn in the Alterac Mountains. He is a former noble of Alterac and now quartermaster of the Syndicate.

Baron Vardus contracted assassins to kill Magistrate Henry Maleb. Both Maleb and High Executor Darthalia want Vardus' head.
