Bat Rider Guards are the aerial guards of the horde towns/outposts in Outland. They appear in groups when an alliance player flies over a horde owned outpost and attack trying to knock the player off his or her mount.

Heres my theory on Magatha. Somehow her shamanistic powers got her contact with the old gods. They then either corrupted her like Deathwing or took her as an apprentice. Magatha rises up through the ranks of the grimtotem then a noble clan. She marries the chief through her connections Gets him killed, and slowly corrupts the grimtotem clan. She wanted the forsaken in the Horde specifically for the Apothecaries. Together with Faranell they are plotting against the Horde and work on releasing the olds Gods.

I'd have to go back to Horde Player's Guide which has a substantial article on the Grimtotem Tribe, but i'm pretty sure it mentions that the tribes dark nature has predated even Magatha becoming its leader, or at least they have always been at odds with other tribes, and xenophobic nature to other races.Baggins 22:47, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Theory on Magatha

Heres my theory on Magatha. Somehow her shamanistic powers got her contact with the old gods. They then either corrupted her like Deathwing or took her as an apprentice. Magatha rises up through the ranks of the grimtotem then a noble clan. She marries the chief through her connections Gets him killed, and slowly corrupts the grimtotem clan. A secret admirer?

So today was Pirate Day and I took a trip to Booty Bay to get my Pirate Outfit. While talking to to various members of the Dread Crew I came across the following:

First Mate Hapana

Hapana simply grunts and waves you away towards the Dread Captain DeMeza.

Beneath the fur of one massive arm can be seen a tattoo of the word "MAGATHA" in an arrow-pierced heart.

What comic is that

What comic is that image of Magatha from? Or is it just a stand alone image?

I couldn't find it in the article, maybe I just missed it. The file description page reports "(Template:Graphic novel Magatha Grimtotem from Issue 3 - Destiny Awaits!)" -- Forco sussura agli abissi 18:04, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
