Battle.net SMS Protect (called "Battle.net Mobile Alerts" in the EU) is a security notification feature associated with a Battle.net account that works via SMS cell phone communication protocol. The service is a system for getting alerts about Battle.net account changes via text messaging and using text messaged security codes to help prevent unauthorized changes to your account.
