Beren's Peril is located in Silverpine Forest due south of Ambermill, between the main road and the side-road coming from Ambermill in the hills. The path leading up to it starts at ^{[60, 75]}

. Before the coming of the plague, this cave was home to creatures of the forest, and was sometimes used as a retreat for the wizards of Dalaran. When the Scourge invaded Lordaeron, however, the cave's creatures were butchered and consumed by ravenous ghouls and skeletal warriors. It has remained in the dark grip of the undead ever since, and poses a threat to the nearby Kirin Tor camps as well as to travelers using the road below.
