Taskmaster Fizzule is a level 30 elite quest giver located outside a tower just northwest of the Sludge Fen in the Horde-aligned territory of the Barrens.

He is initially hostile, and will only become friendly to those that fire a [Flare Gun] twice and then "/salute" him, which is only an option available to Horde rogues undertaking the quest chain which starts with Shenthul at the Cleft of Shadow.

He gives [his whistle] upon completing Template:Questclass, making approaching him easier.

Biography

For reasons unknown, this Dark Iron Dwarf is part of the Shattered Hand, a guild of rogues from Orgrimmar. Fizzule works as a secret agent, infiltrated in the Venture Trading Company.

Fate

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

Fizzule's fate is also unknown, after completing the quest Template:Questclass, Shenthul starts talking about how eficient Fizzule was and that being a field agent of the Shattered Hand is a dangerous work.

This suggests that Taskmaster Fizzule died after Template:Questclass, but before the player arriving at Orgrimmar, since the Dark Iron was alive when he gave the quest. It is possible that Fizzule was discovered by the Venture Company after all the chaos caused by the adventurer sent by him, or that the Shattered Hand -being a guild of rogues-, having found no other use for Fizzule, executed him.

Fighting him

Taskmaster Fizzule has an impressive amount of health for a level 30 NPC and is capable of laying considerable damage in opponents of the same level, hence his elite status.

However, it's not advisable to fight or kill Fizzule, for he is a quest giver and drops no loot.
