Bird of prey is the new classification for birds that do not belong to the carrion bird group. This group includes owls, eagles, hawks, and some rocs (most rocs are considered to be carrion birds).

Birds of prey are cunning pets and can Snatch an enemy's weapon, disarming them for 10 seconds, making them especially useful against some classes in player-versus-player combat.

Patch changesEdit

Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Major changes.
            Screech replaced with Snatch.
Owls, which are now called Birds of Prey, can now eat fish.
Armor and Health had no bonus and now each has a +5% bonus.
Damage had a +7% bonus and now has a +5% bonus.
/ Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Bonus ability added, Trick.
