The BlackSmith (A.K.A. BS), is a subzone in Arathi Basin that serves as a resource node. It can be captured by a member of the Alliance or Horde and once controled it gives resources to help win the battleground. Due to its position between the Alliance and Horde spawning points, the smith is a heavily contested area.

The area sits atop an island accessible by two bridges, one to the north and one to the south. One may also access one of the two hills that lie on both sides of the island, however this requires swimming across the small moat of water around the islet, but may offer tactical advantage.

It is located in the center of the Arathi Basin.
