Blazerunner is a level 56 elite named fire elemental that resides at the top of Fire Plume Ridge in Un'goro Crater. He guards a powerful artifact called the [Golden Flame].

General Info
To kill Blazerunner it is best to acquire the [Silver Totem of Aquementas] which can be used to dispel Blazerunner's Aura. This totem is only gained through the quest line which brings you to kill Blazerunner in the first place. This same quest is the final step in the chain, and yields [Linken's Boomerang] as well as one of two other items.
To get to Blazerunner, the easiest directions would be to take the uphill route from the northern face of the northeast corner of Fire Plume Ridge.
Strategy
You'll need to use the totem more than once in any fight with him, since he seems to get his aura back midfight. It would be good to put it in a spare action-bar slot where you can use it when necessary.
Blazerunner punts on occasion, but as with any punt, you will not fall off of a ledge that you cannot climb right back up, but you may be punted into the lava that flows in the immediate vicinity, which will cause about 500 damage if you stay in the lava.
