Blazing Speed is a popular PvP talent for a mage with over 25 points in their fire tree, being one of the few fire talents that assists mage suvivability. Whenever the mage takes physical damage from any source he or she has a 5/10% chance to gain a 50% movement speed boost and simultaneously remove all debuffs that impair movement.
This talent is of limited use in PvE as generally physical damage whilst raiding to a mage is either raid-wide damage, or a one-shot for more than the mage's total health pool.
