Blazing Speed is a popular PvP talent for a mage with over 5 points in their fire tree, being one of the few fire talents that assists mage suvivability. Whenever the mage takes physical damage from any source he or she has a 5/10% chance to gain a 50% movement speed boost and simultaneously remove all debuffs that impair movement.
This talent is of limited use in PvE as generally physical damage whilst raiding to a mage is either raid-wide damage, or a one-shot for more than the mage's total health pool.
