Blight is a weaponsmithing-made polearm that has a chance to disease the victim every time it hits. This, along with Blackfury, are currently the only crafted polearms in the game.

Blight is crafted by blacksmiths with a skill level of 250. As of patch 2.0.3 this is able to be learned by all blacksmiths of appropriate skill level. The components are:

Background
This long-handled halberd has a narrow, razor-sharp blade and wickedly barbed tip that bears a faintly glowing, sickly green aura. The shaft is wrapped in dried skin peeled from the corpses of zombies. The faint odor of rotting eggs surrounds the wielder in combat. These nasty-looking and nasty-smelling items are not a favorite among the living for obvious reasons.MM&M 117
