A tank hits the block cap when their chance to avoid or block a normal attack is 102.4%. This will ensure that all attacks are at least blocked, evening when fighting a raid boss. This is functionally equivalent to being uncrushable in BC content, except that crushing blows are no longer possible in a raid. This term is only really valid for warrior and paladin tanks.

A tank hits the block cap when their chance to avoid or block a normal attack is 102.4%. This will ensure that all attacks are at least blocked, even when fighting a raid boss. This is functionally equivalent to being uncrushable in BC content, except that crushing blows are no longer possible in a raid. This term is only really valid for warrior and paladin tanks.

Use this macro in game for determining how close to the block cap you are.
