Blood Presence is the death knight tank Presence available at level 57. While active, the death knight recieves increased stamina, a higher armor contribution from gear and decreased damage taken. It also increases all threat generated by a huge amount. The increase of 60% armor contribution does not apply to any bonus armor above the standard armor value for items of their type and item level (green text), nor does it apply to armor granted by rings, amulets or trinkets, or armor gained from agility.

Improvements

- Improved Blood Presence reduces the chance that you will be critically hit by melee attacks while in Blood Presence by 3/6%.
- Improved Frost Presence increases runic power generation by 2/4% in Blood and Unholy Presences.
- Improved Unholy Presence increases movement speed by 8/15% in Blood and Frost Presences.
Cataclysm

In Cataclysm, Blood Presence will replace Frost Presence as the tanking presence as the blood tree will be turned into a dedicated tanking tree. Improved Blood Presence will instead reduce the chance to be critically hit by 3/6% and reduce damage taken by 2/4% in Frost and Unholy presences.
