Emberstone Village

Emberstone Village is a subzone of Gilneas. It survived the Worgen Curse only to be invaded by the Forsaken. The villagers that did not excape were enslaved and forced to work in Emberstone Mine. Alliance players must rescue some of the villagers in Quest:Liberation Day. During Quest:Push Them Out, players kill the Forsaken Infantry, and the town's Forsaken leaders: Executor Cornell and Valnov the Mad.

However, by the time of the Forsaken questing in Gilneas, it has been the site of a major battle, and undead corpses can be found on the ground of the now deserted village. For the quest Quest:Fall Back!, Deathstalker Commander Belmont and Arthura will await players here.
