Bloodseeker is a quest reward from the Alliance quest Hero of the Stormpike or Horde quest Hero of the Frostwolf. In order to complete the quest, you must win a game of Alterac Valley.

Notes

• The high dps from this weapon enables hunters to inflict more burst damage than any other similar quality ranged weapon.

• Quest obtainable at level 51.

Patch changes

• Patch 1.6.0 (12-Jul-2005):
  • Bloodseeker has had its damage variance altered to be more in line with other crossbows and bows. While the minimum and maximum damage values of the item has changed, the average DPS value of the weapon has not changed.
  • The Bloodseeker crossbow's firing animation has been corrected.
