Brannigan Thundermaul was a Wildhammer dwarf member of the Argent Dawn. He was the second to accept Darion Mograine's call for help in storming Naxxramas to rescue his father, Alexandros Mograine, declaring that he would be the last warrior alive to back down from a challenge. He met his end battling the Four Horsemen, when Sir Zeliek stabbed him in the back.
