Dark Intent is a new warlock ability that comes with Cataclysm, learned at level 83 for 25

Dark Intent places a buff on the warlock and another character of their choice. This buff increase both characters spell haste by 3%. When either player lands a critical heal or damage over time spell, the other character recives a buff that increases their damage over time and or healing over time by 3%. This effect stacks up to three times.
Dark Intent can target pets, however this is only recommended while soloing. Otherwise, it is better to cast it on another party member, preferably from a spec which deals heavy periodic damage or healing and scales well with haste, such as an affliction warlock or restoration druid.
