This item drops from  Lord Walden in the normal mode version of Shadowfang Keep, located within Silverpine Forest.

Notes Edit

• Prior to the Cataclysm and the changes to Shadowfang Keep, this axe dropped off Razorclaw the Butcher.
• The source of the name for this item originates from Diablo 1, where on the fourth level of the dungeon there was a unique named demon called "The Butcher", he dropped an item by this name.
