Basic Campfire is an ability or sub-skill of the Cooking profession and creates a cooking fire. The spell has a 2 second cast time and 5 minute cooldown.

Basic Campfire no longer requires either Simple Wood or Flint and Tinder.

Notes

• Anybody in range of the fire gets a +4 spirit Buff.
• Anyone can use a cooking fire to cook over.
• It is possible to raise your cooking skill when you create a campfire.^{[citation needed]}
• An improved version called [Bright Campfire] never made it to the released version of the game, but was reportedly in the beta.^[1]
