Cap

Cap is short for "capture". This typically refers to flags in Alterac Valley and Arathi Basin battlegrounds that must be captured and held.

The term Cap is also used to describe the uppermost level that players can reach - level 60. This was increased to level 70 with the introduction of Burning Crusade, although players must have the expansion in order to reach the higher level cap.
