Cap'n Slappy is part of Dread Captain DeMeza's pirate crew, and appears on the roof of the Booty Bay auction house the 19th of September every year as a part of Pirates' Day.

Cap'n Slappy is based on Mark "Cap'n Slappy" Summers, one of the creators of Talk Like A Pirate Day and co-author of many humourous pirate books.
