This trinket is a quest reward from the Netherwing quest  [70] Stand Tall, Captain!. The quest starts with Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath when you become honored with Netherwing. Simply speak with Overlord Mor'ghor to complete the quest.

Notes Edit

The previous ranking badge, the Overseer's Badge, can only be used in Shadowmoon Valley.

The [Overseer's Badge], [Captain's Badge], and [Commander's Badge] are on a shared cooldown timer.

The whelp summoned by this item scales with the players level, making it still slightly useful in early Northrend zones for solo players as well as for just aesthetic use.
