In Alterac Valley one of the secondary PvP goals is to kill the Captain of the opposing side.

• Alliance:  [?? Boss]  Captain Balinda Stonehearth <Stormpike Captain>
• Horde:  [?? Boss]  Captain Galvangar <Frostwolf Captain>

These NPCs do not respawn when killed.

Benefits of your Captain

• Periodically gives all PC allies in Alterac Valley a size, DPS and 20% flat HP buff.

Benefits of killing the opposing Captain

• Killing grants bonus honor.
• Killing disables the respawning of some enemy troops.
• Killing grants an additional periodic buff if your Captain is still alive
