Creatures are the species of the world of Warcraft. There are often broken down into several classifications.

World of Warcraft

in World of Warcraft fall into several different creature types. Certain types are vulnerable to specific spells, enchantments, and abilities. There are 10 types of creatures:

• Beasts
• Critters
• Demons
• Dragonkin
• Elementals
• Giants
• Humanoids
• Mechanicals
• Uncategorized creatures
• Undead

Classifications (RPG)

The RPG uses additional creature classifications in both game and lore descriptions. These include many of the same ones seen in WoW, but also include these additional ones;

• Aberration
• Construct (equivalent of "Mechanical")
• Magical beast
• Fey
• Monstrous humanoid
• Outsider
• Ooze
• Plant
• Animal

2. All NPCs should be placed in the relevant NPC sub-category
