Shouldn't this be under "category night elves" or something? There are way more sources saying that the highborne were a caste of night elves, not a different race. We might as well say that the noble caste of night elves were a different race too. Rolandius (talk - contr) 02:14, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- Due to their addiction and use of arcane magic, the highborne became a separate breed of elf and distinct from the night elven race. [1][2] {T •C ) 03:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know about that conversation, but the {{races}} template is on the page (as far as I can tell, you didn't add it either). As for the night elf category... although the category is not in it, the main article is, along with high elves... so I think its fine as is. {T •C ) 04:18, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- I just checked on [3] [4] and they don't say anything about them being a different breed or race. It looks overwhelming that they are a caste only. Rolandius (talk - contr) 04:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Only one quote out of dozens say anything about "racial lines" and it is from an "adventure" section in an RPG. I don't think one reference should make them a whole race when pretty much all of the sources say they are a caste of upper class night elves. Rolandius (talk - contr) 04:55, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
