World of Warcraft material items?
I commented out the {{correct2category}} to "World of Warcraft material items" since I think it is too long and doesn't improve on "World of Warcraft ingredients". The term "material items" seems unwieldy and semantically wrong. These items are usually called materials or ingredients, but materials is really too vague and general. The term materials is really only used for those people who think it's easier to abbreviate to "mats", since people wouldn't understand "ings" apparently. I prefer ingredients, because they are usually for things based on "recipes".--

- Agreed. I looked for some distinction between "materials" and "ingredients" and don't see one. Since all the subcategories are named like "WoW engineering ingredients", seems like this should be "WoW ingredients" for consistency. By definition, ingredients are items (at least I don't know of any exception), so "ingredient items" is redundant. Also (peripherally), I think this cat should only hold the subcategories by profession, and not ingredient articles directly, but that's a different issue. -- Harveydrone 22:05, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
