A human tinker developed these goggles originally to provide the same sort of night vision enjoyed by his pet cat. The design eventually passed through the hands of various other tinkers; the present multi-use version is considered the standard.^{APG 119}

•  Hotfix (2009-05-14): "We have reduced the stealth detection of Catseye Ultra Goggles."
