The Chain of the Scarlet Crusade is a non-class specific mail set.

Source[]

The set became unobtainable in Mists of Pandaria when the Scarlet Monastery complex was revamped. Although the uncommon pieces of the set have been looted from the Salvage Crates, the BoE rare pieces have yet to make an appearance. The Scarlet Leggings remain unobtainable.

Notes[]

Removed from game The subject of this section has been removed from World of Warcraft.

Many players collect the set for Roleplaying reasons. This set is primarily matched with two pieces of non-set mail armor that drop in the Scarlet Monastery, filling in the "gaps" in the Scarlet set - the [Raging Berserker's Helm] and [Herod's Shoulder], both from Herod in the Armory.

When it comes to looks, the Inv misc cape 18 [Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade] was introduced in Patch 1.11 and also captures the central emblem of the Scarlet Crusade.
