Chakra: Chastise is a priest ability learned at level 56 for those with the Holy specialization. This [Chakra] confers various boons to the priest, including:

• increasing the damage of holy and shadow spells by 50%
• granting a 10% chance for [Smite] to reset the cooldown of [Holy Word: Chastise]
• reducing the mana cost of Smite and [Holy Fire] by 90%
• transforming the current Holy Word conferred by other Chakras back to Holy Word: Chastise.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.1.0 (27-Nov-2012): Chakras now persist through death and zoning.; Chakra: Chastise now increases the damage dealt by Shadow and Holy spells by 50% (was 15%), and reduces mana costs by 90% (was 75%) while the ability is in effect.
