Conquest Points are the upper-level currency rewarded for participating in PvP encounters in the form of rated battlegrounds and ranked arena combat. The lower-level PvP currency, rewarded from non-rated battlegrounds and world PvP, is awarded in the form of 
[Honor Points].

Your conquest point cap will be calculated each week depending on your best personal rating.

Conquest points can be earned by winning arenas of any size or rated battlegrounds. The first random battleground each day also reward 25 conquest points.
Either way it is not possible to earn more conquest points than your cap allows you to.
