The southwest section of the Stonetalon Mountains. Once a tranquil vale nothing is left of its beauty and an evil glow lies over the area. The very earth is blackened by the flames that consumed its trees. Today this place is infested by fire elementals, wayward tree ancients and vicious harpies who used to call this region their home.
Interestingly enough, there are quite a few mithral nodes scattered around the region. Most miners will not have a high enough skill to mine mithral when they first reach this area, however.
At its southern end one can enter the zone of Desolace.
