Chef de Cuisine is an achievement that requires the character to learn 160 cooking recipes.

Strategy

To find and learn all 160 recipes (+1 additional is available only to rogues), you must perform the following tasks:

1. Highly recommended to download and install the add-on AckisRecipeList to track your progress
2. Learn any remaining recipes from the cooking trainer
3. Start completing cooking daily quests and fishing daily quests:
   1. You will learn 24 recipes from the Dalaran cooking quests
   2. 6 random drop recipes from the Shattrath dailies (although the two rare ones also randomly drop from the Dalaran dailies)
   3. 1 random drop recipe from the Shattrath fishing dailies
4. Complete all the listed cooking quests available to your faction, including the AQ chain quest  [60] Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops
5. Start checking the cross-faction auction houses for recipes available only to the other faction:

6. During the Feast of Winter Veil be sure to purchase and learn the seasonal only recipes from the Smokywood Pastures vendors:

7. Max your cooking to 450 so you can learn the most difficult recipe,  [Recipe: Fish Feast]. At 425 cooking skill, only a few Dalaran recipes are still green and yellow, so you may need to buy extra [Northern Spices].

Note to rogues, be sure to complete the class quest that awards  [Recipe: Thistle Tea] so you can skip one of the other rare recipes.

Notes

Currently in Patch 3.0.3, there are only 158 available recipes in the game, and 4 Northrend recipes are listed that cannot be learned by anyone yet. For historical purposes these are:

• [Recipe: Fish Feast]
• [Recipe: Kungaloosh]
• [Recipe: Shoveltusk Soup]
• [Recipe: Succulent Orca Stew]

 [Fish Feast] and  [Kungaloosh] will be added in patch 3.0.8 and  [Shoveltusk Soup] and  [Succulent Orca Stew] will be removed. The patch will also contain the addition of an entirely new recipe available in Dalaran,  [Recipe: Worg Tartare]. Once these changes are in place, the final number of recipes in the game will be 161. However,  [Recipe: Thistle Tea] is still only available to rogues, or to the few who obtained it before it became BoP.

To learn the new recipes when they are released, be sure to save 8  to buy the new patterns.
