Chieftain Wintergale is the chieftain of Taunka'le Village. He asks the player to help evacuate his village in the quest chain The Fall of Taunka'le Village. At the end of a certain questline, he mentions that he can't get himself to ever leave Taunka'le. He tells the player that he'll fight to death (to defend his village from the Scourge) while his people will move on to Icemist village under the guidance of Durm Icehide.
