Cleave is a 5v5 arena composition consisting of the following classes and talent specializations:
This is the standard composition for a Cleave team that came to rise during Season 3, however many "triple melee" variants exist that can include retribution Paladins and even Hunters. This team relies on Windfury Totem to increase the damage output of the DPS classes to put very heavy damage pressure on their opponents. With three powerful melee classes on a target, and both the Shaman and Priest purging and dispelling, this team has the ability to kill their target very quickly upon reaching it. The dispels and stuns also allow the team to focus targets that are traditionally harder to kill, such as discipline priests and druids. It's weakness lies in its almost total lack of crowd control, and the DPS classes being kited.
