Since the first World of Warcraft Collector's Edition, Blizzard has included at least one new exclusive companion (the first Collector's Edition was the only one to offer more than one, so far, though) for the purchasers of the Collector's Edition. An exclusive pet was even included for cross purchasers of the StarCraft II Collector's Edition.
