If the target is currently affected by your Ignite, it also burns the target for additional damage equal to the damage per tick of the Ignite every 1 sec for 10 sec. When cast, resets the cooldown of your Inferno Blast ability.

Combustion is a mage ability learned at level 77 for those with the Fire specialization. It mixes fire damage with a short duration stun. Additionally, it grants a DoT if the target is under the effects of [Ignite] and also resets the cooldown of [Inferno Blast].

Patch changes

• Patch 5.1.0 (27-Nov-2012): Combustion's periodic damage is now based only on the current Ignite, instead of both Ignite and Pyroblast. Damage has been increased to bring it up to approximately the same level as before. 
  
• Patch 4.1.0 (26-Apr-2011): Combustion no longer has a global cooldown.
