Consume Shadows is a heal over time spell that the Voidwalker casts on itself.

Notes

This is one of the four Warlock's pet Voidwalker's spells. It is a channeled self-heal that can't be used during combat.

Talents

Improved Voidwalker is often considered one of the most essential demonology talents, prior to level 50 (or whenever you get your Felguard). The talent increases the health regenerated by 10% to 30%.

Tips and tactics

Considering how quickly pets regenerate health anyway, it's not often useful, although being Soul Linked to a Passive Voidwalker that is Consuming Shadows is one amazing scenario. However, if your Voidwalker has taken a particularly rough beating after a battle (which will be the case more often than not), this ability can help reduce downtime tremendously.

Patch changes

Patch 3.0.2: Duration reduced to 6 seconds, and effect increased 66%. Now also greatly increases all nearby allies' stealth detection while channelled.

Patch 3.0.2: All demon abilities and spells will automatically be learned as pets gain levels. Demon Master trainers will be removed.
